A case opens with a key. The server draws one prize using configured chances and records the result. Another mechanic can grant the key; if sales are enabled, the player can also buy it with GGBook wallet points. Key price and prize chance are separate settings.
Case settings
| Field | Effect |
|---|---|
| Active | Allows the case to be used |
| Name, image | Card shown in the client |
| Locations, user groups, verified only | Eligibility. An empty group list allows every otherwise eligible player |
| Key acquisition | Not sold means keys come from rewards; Points enables key sales |
| Price (points) | Key price in wallet points when sales are enabled; not a Gizmo cash product price |
| Show chances / names | Controls what players can see about possible prizes before opening; actual server odds do not change |
| Reward sorting | Display order by chance or manually; does not change draw probability |
Rewards and odds
Create reward rows so active chances add to 100%. Each row has optional picture, name and description, percentage chance, display color and prize type. Manual sorting exposes a Position field. Limited Stock sets the available grant count; an exhausted row should no longer be offered in later openings.
The current editor offers points, Gizmo time products, Gizmo user group for a number of hours, custom text reward and code from a pool. Codes require available stock in a code pool; an empty pool is excluded from the draw. Older descriptions of an “empty prize”, “key as prize” or fixed time are not current editor options.
Connect cases to other mechanics
Select Case as the reward of a task, achievement or Battle Pass level: the player receives a key for that case. A Cases opened signal can then count actual openings, optionally for selected cases. A code prize consumes stock from Reward Codes; check both the pool's balance and locations.
Example: a “Starter” case is not sold; a three-visit task grants its key. Set 80% for 50 points and 20% for 200 points. First verify key delivery, then opening and the recorded result. The server draws the prize; changing display order or labels does not change the odds.
