Membership levels form a ladder. Every tier links to a Gizmo user group; reaching the tier applies that group's Gizmo rules. This is separate from Battle Pass levels.
Ladder settings
| Field | Effect |
|---|---|
| Levels enabled | When off, the ladder neither grants levels nor appears to players |
| Points mode | Conditions and achievements earn ladder score; each tier has a score threshold. This is not spendable wallet points |
| Requirements mode | Each tier has achievement or inline condition rows and a required number of completions ×N. Score thresholds do not apply |
| Season duration | No season keeps progress; week, month, quarter or year starts a new counting period |
| Promote only at season start | Completed promotions wait for the next season boundary. When off, promotions may happen as soon as conditions are met. Seasonal demotions happen at the boundary |
| Locations | Restricts the ladder to selected club locations |
Tiers and progress sources
Order tiers from lowest to highest. Give each a name, optional badge and Gizmo group. In Points mode, enter a threshold and fill in Score per condition. A row can reference an Achievement (Shared) or define an Inline signal, target and period. Its Points value is the ladder score earned on completion.
In Requirements mode, open each tier and add rows. ×N is the required completion count for that row. Tier requirements are checked for that tier; an achievement's own reward remains a separate grant.
Example
“Newcomer” has threshold 0 and Gizmo group “Standard”. The “Three weekly visits” achievement earns 10 ladder points. “Regular” requires 30 and links to group “Regulars”. Three eligible completions reach 30 ladder points and open promotion. The player's GGBook wallet has not gained 30 points; that requires a separate Points reward.
Check every tier's group before enabling the ladder: prices, discounts and computer access are configured in Gizmo. The player record shows promotions and progress. A seasonal reset can change the eligible tier under ladder rules.
